How do I find out if my car was towed to Lonestar?

Call us at (972) 900-5020 with your license plate number or VIN. We're open 24 hours and will confirm whether your vehicle is at our Plano or Dallas lot, along with the address and current charges.

What do I need to bring to get my vehicle back?

A valid government-issued photo ID and proof you're entitled to the vehicle — registration, title, or a notarized authorization if picking up for someone else. Out-of-state and out-of-country IDs are accepted.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. By law we must accept payment by cash, debit, or credit card for any charge associated with the delivery or storage of a vehicle.

Can I get my belongings out before I pay?

Yes. Texas law gives you the right to access the inside of your vehicle to retrieve personal property and obtain identification needed to prove ownership, even before fees are paid.

How much does storage cost per day?

Texas sets statewide maximums — currently up to $22.85 per day for vehicles 25 feet or shorter and up to $39.99 per day for longer vehicles. See our Fee Schedule for details.

Can I challenge the tow?

Yes. Under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 2308 you may request a hearing to challenge whether a private-property tow was authorized. We can explain how.

Are you open on weekends and holidays?

Yes — both lots are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
